The Science of Consciousness (TSC) conferences sponsored by the University of Arizona are the pre-eminent world gatherings on all approaches to the profound and fundamental question of how the brain produces conscious experience. The conferences have explored the whole spectrum of approaches to consciousness, from philosophy of mind and cognitive science, to neurobiology, pharmacology, and molecular dynamics, phenomenological accounts, and physics. The aim is to lay a sound scientific foundation for future research.
TSC conferences have been held in Tucson since 1994, (every 2 years) and are recognized around the world. TSC International held its first conference in 1995 and continues in alternate years.
